The O2Compost Macro-Bin was developed in response to a growing number of requests for a small-sized permanent compost system; one that can be easily and inexpensively constructed by the owner. It is available in a variety of sizes in order to successfully compost the manure and waste bedding generated from 1 to 10 horses. It is also ideal for homeowners, gardeners, and landscapers who have large quantities of grass, leaves and weeds (even food waste and paper waste) to compost.

The Macro-Bin is considered a semi-permanent compost system that is designed to be constructed mainly out of tongue and groove lumber. The only concrete included in the design is a small amount around the base of the bins that acts as a seal with the earth. These factors result in great savings with regard to the construction of the Macro-Bin, both in materials and labor.

Included in the Macro-Bin Kit is the following:
