Municipal Composting

Introduction

Municipal waste is what we generally think of as "Garbage". Compostable municipal wastes include a wide spectrum of materials, including zoo manure, yard waste, paper and cardboard, pre- and post-consumer food waste, and ultimately human waste (referred to as biosolids). The following example compost systems were developed by O2Compost, except where noted.
