Farrell McWhirter Park

Redmond, WA

Built to manage the waste from eight horses plus a variety of other farm animals (cows, goats, sheep, chickens, and rabbits), this aerated compost system was built large enough to allow for six months of storage. It was constructed in 2006 to remediate surface water contamination in a nearby creek. This facility serves as a demonstration site for O2Compost Hands-On Training Workshops.
