 No Distance is Too Great!

When Peter was developing the idea for our Training Programs, he had no idea of knowing if it would actually work locally, let alone with overseas clients. In fact, our overseas projects almost didn't happen. Fortunately, he listened to what the market was telling him and now he can tell prospective clients that we have completed over 1,800 projects since we started offering our Compost Training Programs in 2000.

We now have systems in 49 of the 50 U.S. states, 8 Canadian provinces, and 28 foreign countries!

Peter likes to tell people he was "tricked" into expanding our services overseas. In hindsight, we are grateful to Nikki Kagan of Israel for forcing us to take the leap.

O2Compost Q&A: How to Keep Moisture in the Bins

"With no stall bedding in the mix, how do I keep the pile wet before the aerating process begins? Our climate is quite dry and hot during the day."

ANSWER: Wet down the manure as you place it in the bin. Our goal is for the initial mix to have a moisture content of 60-65%, such that if you squeeze a handful very tightly it will yield a few drips of water or a bead of water will form between your fingers. The manure will also form a "ball" that will crumble fairly easily with a poke of your finger.
