Three Horse Farm

Salem, OR

Michael H. brought his three horses (an Arabian, a Percheron and a Clydesdale) home from a boarding facility that had the inevitable unsightly "manure mountain". Wanting to avoid that mess at his home, he chose to construct three hexagonal O2Compost Micro-Bins, which do a great job of keeping up with the waste generated from by his horses. The aerated bins run on solar power, which allows him to put the bins anywhere. Right now, the finished compost is used on his farm's garden and back out on the pastures; however, eventually, Michael intends to also use it as stall bedding.
