The owner of Five Leaf Clover Farm conducted research and found the O2Compost aerated systems to be the most efficient and ecologically friendly way to manage the manure and hemp bedding waste from three horses. She also appreciated how the aesthetics of the constructed Benchmark Compost System complimented the barn. In this system, wire mesh was placed in the air grates to help prevent large bits of manure from falling into the trench, and the walls were constructed with slip boards for easy wear replacement. The final compost product is spread on the fields, boosting healthy growth and a successful field rotation practice.
