Here is another installation we hold close to our heart. The Lotus Herd is a nonprofit facility offering equine-assisted therapy for the elderly and young adults with autism or physical/mental disabilities. This Paragon Compost System is a Barn Pros collaboration to ensure a structure design that compliments the facility's barn and outbuildings. It handles manure waste from six rescued horses and eight minis. The finished compost is reused on the pastures and gardens. Special features: a ramp allows for easy wheelbarrow access to dump manure into the bins; and an irrigation pipe with a valve for each bay runs along the roof to assist with adding moisture to the piles as needed.
