With the assistance of O2Compost, Robert M. constructed Aerated Bays to compost woody and herbaceous landscape debris at Sarah P. Duke Gardens. His goal was to eliminate approximately 1,000 cu yards of landscape debris from going into a landfill each year. The finished compost product will likely be used as a mulch or soil amendment.
