It is a requirement in Oregon that farms of this size have a containment system for manure so the runoff does not enter the water system. Amber V. heard about O2Compost from their facility designer and it turned out to be a good fit for them. Forward Stride has between 29 and 36 horses on site at all times. Their aerated bay compost system handles the manure and multiple bedding types, and well as landscape refuse. They have developed relationships with several farmers who are using the compost to improve their land.
