Becky is very dedicated to the principles of sustainability and environmental protection. She found O2Compost in her search for a good way to deal with the manure and built her aerated Micro-Bin system in 2010. With no bedding in the mix, attaining the perfect moisture level took some a little trial and error. Becky spreads the finished compost back onto the pasture closest to the compost bin. Then she moves the bin to another area and repeats the process. She says the aroma from the bins, even when they are just starting up, is wonderfully "earthy and spicy".
