Sugar Brook Farm is a combined dairy and horse farm (40 horses). This compost system was developed to resolve a large manure mangement problem and to provide a finished compost product for sale. Active composting is done in large aerated bays for 30-40 days and then transfered to aerated curing bays to produce a top-quality product.
